Netflix has officially unveiled the first trailer for Enola Holmes 3, bringing back the beloved young detective for her most personal and dangerous adventure yet. Directed by Philip Barantini and written by Jack Thorne, the third installment in the hit mystery franchise stars Millie Bobby Brown as Enola Holmes alongside Louis Partridge, Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter, Himesh Patel, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster. Based on Nancy Springer's popular book series, the new film combines romance, suspense, action, and detective work as Enola faces a case that threatens both her family and future.
What Does the Enola Holmes 3 Trailer Reveal?
The trailer opens with what appears to be a happy new chapter in Enola's life. After years of adventures and mysteries, she is preparing to marry Lord Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge). However, the celebrations are interrupted when shocking news arrives: Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill) has been kidnapped. What should have been the happiest moment of Enola's life suddenly turns into her most urgent investigation.

As the trailer unfolds, Enola embarks on a dangerous international mission that takes her far beyond London. The footage showcases dramatic action sequences, explosions, secret conspiracies, and high-stakes chases. Several scenes suggest that the investigation leads Enola to Malta, where she uncovers clues connected to a larger criminal plot.
The trailer also highlights Enola's internal conflict. While she loves Tewkesbury, she questions whether marriage will change her identity as an independent detective. This emotional dilemma becomes a central theme as she tries to balance her personal life with the responsibility of saving her brother.
What Is Enola Holmes 3 About?
According to Netflix, the story follows Enola as she travels to Malta after Sherlock's disappearance. There, her personal and professional lives collide in a mystery more dangerous and complex than any case she has faced before. The film promises a darker and more mature tone while maintaining the humor, adventure, and charm that made the first two movies so popular.
The third installment explores Enola's growth from a talented young detective into a confident adult facing life-changing decisions. At the same time, she must unravel a conspiracy that threatens the people she loves most.
