Syria – Bashar Al-Assad regime fall-out on Sunday 8th-12-2024. After the rebel groups got a breakthrough in the capital Damascus.

Bashar al-Assad is the second generation of autocrats who have ruled Syria for more than 24 years. His father, Hafez al-Assad, played a key role in the 1963 military coup that brought him into power. He was a dictator and an army officer who served as the 18th President of Syria from 1971 until he died in 2000.
