12 12 12 (2026) is an upcoming crime thriller series that brings together Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan in a story built around an ambitious bank robbery, a determined investigation and the dangerous consequences of a carefully planned crime. Created by Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble, the series is set to arrive on Apple TV in November 2026.
Rather than focusing only on the robbery itself, 12 12 12 explores the different stages of a criminal operation, from months of preparation to the execution of the plan and the events that follow. Its unusual title reflects the story’s three-part timeline, giving viewers a glimpse into the scale and structure of the heist.
12 12 12 (2026) Trailer: A Heist With Everything at Stake
The trailer for 12 12 12 introduces a tense world where careful planning, deception and criminal ambition collide. At the centre of the story is a major robbery involving a bank vault in Zurich, Switzerland. What initially appears to be a calculated operation gradually develops into a dangerous game involving law enforcement and people with their own interests.
Anthony Mackie plays a disgraced FBI agent whose pursuit of the criminal operation becomes a central part of the narrative. Jamie Dornan appears as an American career criminal, placing the two actors on opposite sides of a high-stakes conflict.
The premise suggests that the robbery is only one part of a much larger story. The preparation, the operation itself and the aftermath all carry their own risks. Even the most carefully designed plan can fall apart when unexpected obstacles emerge or people make decisions that change everything.
The trailer establishes the series as a crime drama rather than a straightforward action spectacle. Its appeal lies in the tension between the people planning the heist and those trying to stop it.
What Is the Story of 12 12 12?
The story of 12 12 12 (2026) revolves around an elaborate bank heist planned over 12 months, executed over 12 hours and followed through its consequences over 12 days.
This three-stage structure is the defining feature of the series. It allows the narrative to examine a criminal operation from several perspectives instead of concentrating solely on the moment the robbery takes place.
The preparation phase offers opportunities to explore the planning, strategy and decisions required to organise a major theft. Every detail matters, and even a minor mistake could expose the operation before it begins.
The 12-hour execution phase brings the plan into action. This is where preparation meets reality, and the criminals must deal with the unpredictable circumstances surrounding the robbery.
The final 12 days examine the aftermath. Investigators work to understand what happened, the people involved face the consequences of their choices, and the pressure surrounding the case continues to build.
Zurich provides the backdrop for the central heist, while the wider pursuit extends across Europe. The result is a story that combines crime, investigation, suspense and the personal consequences of ambition.
