The story revolves around a shepherd and his flock of sheep. When the shepherd, George Hardy, is found mysteriously dead, the unexpected happens—the sheep themselves take on the role of detectives. Determined to uncover the truth, they begin investigating the case, leading to a series of hilarious and unpredictable events. Along the way, multiple characters enter the story, adding layers of comedy and intrigue.
The film is based on the popular novel Three Bags Full by Leonie Swann. Directed by Kyle Balda and written by Craig Mazin, the movie blends mystery with lighthearted storytelling.
Hugh Jackman leads the cast as George Hardy, the shepherd whose mysterious death sets the story in motion. The supporting cast includes Emma Thompson as George’s lawyer, Nicholas Braun as Tim Derry, a clumsy local cop, Nicholas Galitzine as reporter Elliot Matthews, Molly Gordon as Rebecca Hampstead, George’s daughter, and Hong Chau as Beth Pennock.
